Ever since I can remember, I've always love art and craft and by the time I was in grade 2, I knew I wanted to do something creative when I was a grown up. It also helped that the family business was graphic design and printing - from the age of 3 I was using Apple computers!
After high school I completed the Brighton Bay Art, Design & Photography Program 2002 (Australia) to build up a comprehensive design portfolio and further develop design skills. In addition to being a really fun year of making, creating and designing, I graduated the program with a Top Folio - Award for Excellence.
I then went on to complete a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) 2005 at Monash University (Australia) which included classes in Graphic Design, Typography, Advertising, Photography and Digital Design. During this time I began working part time for the family business as a part time Graphic Designer. After I graduated I became a full time design consultant, working with clients to to achieve the outcome they desired.
In 2010 I moved from my hometown of Melbourne, Australia to Los Angeles, California and began working freelance for a variety of clients from around the world - branding & identity, logos, stationery, advertising, brochures, flyers, webinars, social media images and more! For each project I take the time to understand the needs of the client and each individual brief to ensure the solution and final product fully reflects their message and fits their budget. I am proud to have client relationships that are going on many years.
Adobe CC InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop on MacOS are my tools of choice.
At the end of 2019 I took some time off from my business to focus on family and a cross country move in January 2020 and now reside in Massachusetts. After a tumultuous 2020 - 2021 I am happy to be back designing again.
I'm excited about great design - I hope you are too!
